Brennan lead the Oakland 2.0 panel at the June Bisnow event. The discussion touched on a variety of big urban topics, it included how we keep Oakland “Real”, how placemaking can restitch Oakland’s dissected urban fabric and what is BART doing to help move Oakland forward. The panel included a number of luminaries, see it here.

Brennan took part in San Francisco Parks Alliance 2018 Park Partners Conference held on Saturday April 24th. A great panel filled with people participating in fantastic peacemaking projects all over San Francisco.
Come join us for a public meeting to discuss the future and vision for Linda Beach Park in Piedmont. We are developing a comprehensive master plan for this beloved urban park, chulk full of programming and a complicated mix of park users.
Groundworks is really happy to be working in on the redesign of this awesome neighborhood playground. We are currently moving into Design Development and with any luck will deliver Construction Documents later this year.
Groundworks Office was listed as a finalist for the Harvey Milk Memorial and Plaza Design Competition! Our entry was shortlisted from a submission pool of 33, the international design competition attracted submissions from all over the globe, we are extremely proud to be apart of this inspirational the truly awesome project.
We are extremely happy to report that the Trust for Public Land has secured an Urban Greening grant from the California Natural Resources Agency for the development of the Richmond Wellness Trail! We worked to develop a series of images that hoped to capture the energy and potential of this transformational project for the City of Richmond.
