Brennan has a deep curiosity about how things work and how people work together. He asks a lot of questions. He's always learning. And he believes that landscapes should educate and cultivate understanding while vitalizing local ecosystems. His work tells stories of distant histories and neighborhood communities, reflecting the voices of the past, present, and future to inspire a pride in place and promote civic stewardship. 

In his role as project director, Brennan takes a hands-on approach to every project, from first conversations with the client and community groups through final construction. He embraces the latest technologies as tools for design, prototyping, and building GWO's vibrant landscapes, but knows there’s no substitute for good old-fashioned hard work — and no problem that can’t be solved with an open mind, a Pentel Sign Pen Model #S520 and a roll of trace paper.
